Dearest Tom,
Though my Father-In-Law, you were actually like the Grandfather I never had, and I am so grateful for that.

Words escape me at a time like this, but I hope you know that I loved having you in my life. You were so very smart and funny and wise.

It was an honour to be able to see you in your last few days, so full of clarity, and so full of love for your family. It's something I will never forget.

Don't worry, we'll take care of Dorothy, and Andy and I will be proud to keep your memory alive for Dayna and the generations to come.
